Takeaway: Peace is a powerful concept. We all want it in some fashion or another. The main reason for the absence of peace between people is the absence of peace between God and people through sin. Jesus is the full embodiment of the Prince of Peace prophesied in Isaiah 9. Yet, he brings peace by being a conquering king. Has he conquered you? How are you pursuing peace apart from Christ?
