Takeaway: Christians have often promoted a version of the afterlife that is weak and unsatisfying. The Biblical hope is far richer than we imagine. It offers a tangible hope from a personal God that brings meaning into this life. The resurrection of Christ not only accomplishes this hope, but it is also the guarantee of its reality.
