Community Groups

Community Groups at Faith serve like “a church in miniature.” Even in a small church, it is difficult to be the type of community God calls us to be. These are places of encouragement, care, support, witness, service, and fellowship. It is our hope that you participate in a group like this.

The New Testament describes Christians actively involved in each other’s lives through “one anothering” deeds. Community Groups are a key place for this to happen.

Romans 12:10–13 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. [11] Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. [12] Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. [13] Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

Hebrews 10:24–25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, [25] not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
