Christmas Reverses How We Find Peace

Takeaway: No one likes to wait. It makes us irritable. It reminds us that we are not in control. It tempts us to give up. Advent, however, calls us to wait. Christmas isn’t the conclusion of Advent, ending our wait. Christmas comes, and we realize the waiting has just begun. On the surface, this seems like God’s denial of our peace.
