The State as Servant of God?

Takeaway: From Creation onward, we can see that God cares about order and justice. Since the Fall, God created the institution of the State to preserve and uphold what is good. The State is distinct from the Church; the best interests of both suffer when this distinction is blurred. How does understanding God’s purpose for the State help the Church fulfill its calling?
