Takeaway: The way God has chosen to give us faith is both gracious and humbling. The knowledge of God doesn’t come from inside us, by our discovery or creation. We are not in control, manipulating God to give us what we want. We are passive hearers, waiting dependently on God’s voice. In what ways are you letting God’s word mold you? How will those around you come to faith if it is not proclaimed to them?
