Takeaway: When Paul proclaims that “Christ is God over all,” he is declaring that there are no “unsavable” people. We are tempted to exclude people from the gospel for many reasons: ethnicity, allegiance to another religion, their opposition to Christianity, etc. We often look at the wrong thing to determine if someone belongs to God’s people (Not all Israel is Israel). The good news of God’s election, however, tells us that grace can be for anyone. Who do you consider “unsavable”? Why do we continue to generalize about others?
