Takeaway: The good news of Christianity begins when we finally lose faith in ourselves. That point of despair comes when God’s Law exposes the utter sinfulness of sin. Yet, at that point of despair, we find God finally and fully dealing with sin in Christ. What is the danger of ignoring the sinfulness of sin? When do you find yourself pointing to the Law rather than Christ as the answer to sin?
