Life as the Bride of Christ

Takeaway: In our passage, Paul proclaims that we are now “released from the Law.” Will that result in moral chaos? Fearing this, many Christians have sought to sneak the Law in through the back door: you are saved by grace, but you stay saved by Law. How else will you obey unless you feel the threat of the Law’s condemnation? Our passage, however, points to a new motivation, one that begins with a marriage.
