Takeaway: Christianity is no longer seen as positive or neutral in the world but as a negative, harmful influence. This seems to agree with Jesus’ words that we will be hated by the world. Why? Is it justified? And, what should our response be? Jesus not only warns us of this reality, he gives us a clear charge in the midst of it.
