Knowing the Unknowable

Passage: John 1:1–18

We tend to treat God either as an abstract concept or a being so personal that he cannot be shared. Which view of God do you find yourself taking? John’s introduction challenges both of those ideas with Jesus Christ, the eternal God who steps into history to make himself known. Amazingly, Jesus’ relationship with God the Father also points to the type of relationship we can have with him. How can you tell if your relationship with God is not like this?
