Takeaway:  Who are the righteous? What do they look like? Romans 4 warns us that salvation is not something we can earn with our works; it must be by faith. It is tempting to turn that faith into a work, something we accomplish. It becomes our boast. But, Christian faith is not faith in a religion, even the right religion. It isn’t the reward of someone who does the right things. Christian faith is not man-centered; and, because it is not, it can be open to you. Is your confidence in God and his promises or in your performance?
