Get a Life

Takeaway: Jesus is at the height of his popularity. He’s entered Jerusalem to cheering crowds. Even Gentiles are seeking him. It seems like the kingdom of God is ready to spread throughout the world through popularity and power. Worldly success, however, is not the nature of God’s kingdom. At this moment, Jesus heads to the Cross; it seems foolish. God’s kingdom will often appear like throwing away your life. Yet, it is where true life is found. Jesus calls all who follow him this self-giving life. What area of life do you find yourself clinging onto? Are you fearful of wasting your life?
