Christ for Everyone

Takeaway: Modern life is based on thinking about ourselves, posting about ourselves, working on ourselves. Our custom-made solutions to coping with modern life have left us isolated and disconnected. This emphasis on self-care and wellness is attractive but leaves us with a profound yearning for something greater than ourselves and something that can unite us. Christ enters our world not to divide us but as the one redeemer for all humanity. Jesus must not be placed as one of the world’s religious teachers. He will not be a sectarian God of “only the Christians.” The question for us is not which spirituality fits us best, but rather which is the real story? To that question our whole life is our answer.
