God-given Work

Surprisingly, God included work at the very beginning of creation, even in paradise. Work plays an important role in what it means to be human. Yet, sin has made work frustrating and futile. Today, we look to our jobs to provide us with self-fulfillment, an identity, and a sense of significance. These expectations are more than our work can bear. How can the gospel free us from sinful approaches to our work? Does your work have to be “redemptive” to be done faithfully? How can you integrate your faith at work?
