God is concerned about our physical needs, as well as our spiritual needs. But, wouldn’t it be odd if everything in this prayer references Christ, except this one little phrase. Jesus tells us that seeking God to get bread or seeking bread instead of God will cause us to miss the bread that will truly satisfy. Is Christ enough for you or is he only good if we have our other needs met? How can having too much or not enough of these physical provisions affect our spiritual life?
